What you need

The Nosana Node runs on consumer or enterprise NVIDIA hardware, which is why it sits at intermediate rather than advanced.

How you get paid

When the Nosana Grid matches your GPU to an inference job, the job runs in a container on your hardware and settles a NOS payment through the Solana smart contract. There are no idle block rewards to fall back on the way some networks pay: you earn when your node actually runs a job, so utilisation is everything.

NOS also has a staking layer (xNOS) that shares protocol fees and grants governance, and 20% of protocol profits are used to buy back and burn NOS.
